Pastor Laird’s journey at Wayside reflects his deep-rooted commitment to our spiritual family, having served as Assistant Pastor for nine years before answering the call to step into the role of Senior Pastor eight years ago. Known for his dynamic preaching, practical teaching, and compassionate heart, Pastor Laird is a true servant leader. He pours his energy into building strong relationships, strengthening families, and fostering positive change through faith-fueled action and community engagement.
Walking hand-in-hand in life and ministry, Pastor Laird and his wife, Dr. Keba Laird, have been happily married for 29 years. They are the proud parents of two wonderful daughters, Ashley and Michaela. Together, the Laird family embodies the spirit of hospitality, excellence, and love that defines Wayside Church, remaining entirely committed to helping individuals grow, thrive, and experience the transforming power of God.
